Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) continues reforms aimed at improving quality of scientific staff training. Establishment in system of academy of the second step of higher education - magistracies, attraction of talented youth in science, integration of science and education, participation of youth in advanced training courses, paying of attention to social problems of youth, and also scientific preparation of the youth knowing foreign languages in the conditions of construction of society of knowledge serves a main goal - preparation of a highly qualified scientific personnel. ANAS held a meeting with the faculty of the Department of Foreign Languages Department of Education of the central apparatus of the Presidium of ANAS. President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh told about new directions in activity of department, made recommendations of rather carried out reforms, bringing examination and educational process to the level of the international standards and equipment of examination offices of audio-video the equipment. At the meeting was also attended by academician-secretary of ANAS, academician Rasim Alguliev, head of Department of Law and staff of Central Office of the Presidium of ANAS, PhD in Law Rasim Agasiyev and Head of Department of Education, Doctor of Philosophy in History Nurida Guliyeva. During a meeting the academician Rasim Alguliyev gave a valuable advice of rather further activity of chair and told about improvement of quality of education by means of use of information and communication technologies, about participation of teachers in professional development aaplets, and also about strengthening of material base of chair, etc.
