On November 26, 2014 at the main building of ANAS was held scientific and practical conference on “Emergency situations, scientific - practical aspects of their management and development dynamics”. The conference organized by ANAS, head of General Management for Education, project management and organizational work with the Regional Emergency Center and Baku Regional Emergency Center. Made a speech at the event President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh and Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant-General Faig Taghizadeh told about the purpose and importance of the event. It was noted that the main objective of event is to prevent emergency situations of natural and technogenic character by application of the available scientific achievements, and also carrying out new scientific researches in this direction. Then director of the Institute for Human Rights of ANAS, PhD in Law Ayten Mustafayeva spoke on “Preventive measures in the context of human rights in order to protect against emergency situations”, acting director of ANAS Institute of Geography, academician Ramiz Mammadov - on “Creating of database and atlas of Emergency Situations of AR” , director of ANAS Institute of Petrochemical processes named after Yu.G.Mammadadaliyev, academician Vagif Abbasov – on “New fire extinguishing agent –“Naftapen “”.
