Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Institute of Folklore releases chain of music albums with the purpose of to create wide imagination about epic creativity and to deliver this art to future offspring. Recently, Folklore studio of the institute has released Azerbaijan folk epics in 3 discs.

First album compiles “Asli-Karam” performed by Ashug Huseyn Sarajli, “Novruz-Gandab” by Ashug Akber, “Gurbani” by Ashug Imran. Each of 3 epics is the most beautiful patterns of Azerbaijan epics of love.

Designers are corresponding member of ANAS Mukhtar Imanov, PhDs in philology Elkhan Mammadli, Elchin Abbasov, Miraslan Bakirli and Elshad Mammadov.

Note that, Folklore studio aims at providing technical support in the process of collection and preservation of folklore, enriching e-database, and ensuring the highest level of audio and video materials.
