A meeting with young people was held in Nakhchivan Branch

A meeting was held at the Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS with the active youth of the autonomous republic with the author of the monograph "Socio-economic and cultural development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic", chairman of the department, academician Ismayil Hajiyev.

Opening the event, Executive Director of the Youth Foundation of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Jabi Guliyev spoke about the youth policy implemented in our country and its successful results.

Then Academician Ismayil Hajiyev briefed on the department and informed the youth about the scientific achievements. Emphasizing the need for young people in all fields of science, the scientist said that the main goal of the Nakhchivan Division is to serve Nakhchivan studies.

Speaking about the monograph, the scientist said that the publication was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Bringing the chapters and topics covered by them to the attention of young people, the academician said that every reader of the book will witness the socio-economic and cultural changes, dynamic and sustainable development and achievements in the autonomous republic in 1995-2019. Every young activist who benefits from the monograph can take this promising development as an example in their future activities.

I.Hajiyev said that the territorial, energy and food security of the autonomous republic is fully ensured, and work in this area continues to grow. He said that if Nakhchivan imported electricity at the beginning of the century, it is already a strategically important region that exports energy.

Then, a speech by young activist Shovkat Karimli on the monograph was heard and questions of interest to young people were answered.
