Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The Institute of Literature of ANAS has published the second volume of the ten-volume "History of Azerbaijan Literature".

The second volume, published by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute dated July 3, 2020, covers the section "Azerbaijani literature of the common beginning and renaissance". The general editorial board of the 1024-page book includes the president of ANAS, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev (chairman), the first vice-president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbayli (editor-in-chief), Teymur Karimli, Nushaba Arasli and Imamverdi Hamidov. The book's editorial board consists of Isa Habibbayli (editor-in-chief), Imamverdi Hamidov (editor-in-chief), Nushaba Arasli, Farida Azizova and Aygun Bagirli (executive secretary).

The book, published by "Elm" Publishing House, begins with a large-scale study by the first vice-president of ANAS, director of the Institute of Literature, academician Isa Habibbayli entitled "Common beginning in literature".
