Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

A collection of scientific researches "Azərbaycan qorqudşünaslığı"("Azerbaijan gorgud-study") prepared by the Department of Dede Gorgud of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS has been published.

The compiler of the collection and the author of the "Foreword" is the head of the Dada Gorgud department, Doctor of Philology, Professor Ramazan Gafarli. The scientific editor is the director of the enterprise, academician Mukhtar Imanov.

In the second half of the last century, along with the works of classical Azerbaijani researchers such as Amin Abid, Hamid Arasli, Ali Sultanli, Mammadhuseyn Tahmasib, Azal Demirchizade, Mammad Amin Rasulzadeh, who lived and created in the first half of the twentieth century, a collection of fundamental scientific works reflecting the main sources of fear science. The works of Tofig Hajiyev, Isa Habibbayli, Kamal Abdullayev, Bakir Nabiyev, Nizami Jafarov, Farhad Zeynalov, Samat Alizade, Shamil Jamshidov, Bahlul Abdulla, Ramazan Gafarli, who began their scientific activity and revealed the merits of the epic.
