Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Kimyakhanim Bakhishova, a second-year master's student at the Institute of Radiation Problems of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, majoring in Radiation Materials Science, has been selected the winner of the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) international scholarship program.

Thus, out of 550 candidates representing 90 countries to contribute to gender equality in nuclear energy and technology, 100 female students have been selected by the IAEA as the winners of the Maria Skadlovskaya-Curie Scholarship Program.

It should be noted that K. Bakhishova is the first Azerbaijani student to win this scholarship program.
