A new article on the January 20 genocide by Atif Islamzadeh, a leading researcher of the "Ceremonial Folklore" department of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor, has been published on the Turkish website "Kafkassam.com".

In his article, the author spoke in detail about the bloody incident that befell the people of Azerbaijan on the night of January 19-20, 1990. That night, he linked the arrest of civilians fighting for national freedom and the territorial integrity of his country and the killing of hundreds of innocent people to the criminal nature of the totalitarian Soviet regime.
