The famous Archaeopress publishing house in Oxford, England, which specializes in the publication of scientific monographs on serious academic research of important monuments of world archeology, has published a fundamental monograph in English about the 8,000-year-old ancient settlement of Göytepe (Tovuz region) in Azerbaijan.
It is the first event in the archeological science of our country that one of the most influential scientific publishing houses of the West has published a monograph on the Göytepe archeological complex, which has been researched in recent years, at its own expense.
Göytepe: Neolithic Excavations in the Middle Kura Valley, Azerbaijan co-authors Farhad Guliyev, head of the department of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS, doctor of philosophy in history, archeologist and professor of prehistoric archeology at the University of Tokyo (Japan), director of the museum of that institution, doctor Yoshihiro Nishiaki.
