Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The next online meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Oil and Gas of ANAS was held.

The event was attended by the vice-president of ANAS, academician Ibrahim Guliyev, director of the institute Doctor of Geology-Mineralogical Sciences, academician Fakhraddin Kadirov, employees of the enterprise and other relevant persons.

Opening the meeting, academician Fakhraddin Kadirov informed about the scientific and organizational issues on the agenda.

Then, the report of the leading researcher of the Department of Analysis of Oil-and-Gas-Bearing Basins of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy in Geology and Mineralogy, Associate Professor Malahat Afandiyeva "Results of systematic research for the study of the Maykop series in Azerbaijan" was heard.

M.Afandiyeva noted that the main results of the study were published in a number of scientific articles, including journals indexed in the "Web of Science" and "Scopus" databases and discussed at national and international conferences.

Then the report was widely discussed.

The Scientific Council decided to continue research on "Application of system research for the study of the Maykop series in Azerbaijan."

Then the new members of the Young Scientists and Specialists Council and the Women's Council of the institute were approved.

At the end, a number of current issues were discussed.
