Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Great philosopher of Turkic world Movlana Jalaladdin Rumi’s “Masnavi” book has been translated into Azerbaijani.

Embracing all Turkic-Islamic ethics and thinking, “Masnavi” three volume has been translated into Azerbaijani by Abulfaz Guliyev, corresponding member of ANAS, director of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature, ANAS Nakhchevan Department, based on the original translation of Turkish scientist, prof. Adnan Karaismayiloglu.

Publishing in the “Ajami” Polygraph Association, the book was published at initiative and counseling of Vasif Talibov, chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchevan Autonomous Republic.

6 covers of Azerbaijani version of Rumi’s “Masnavi” published in Turkey with grace design. Edition was sponsored by Tahir Akyurek, mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Republic of Turkey.

Edition including brief but comprehensive data about life and heritage of Movlana, sheds light of ethics and morality for humanity.

Editor of the book is vice-president of ANAS acad. Isa Habibbayli.
