Lab head of ANAS Institute of Physics acad. Teyyar Jafarov’s chapter was published on “Handbook of Porous Silicon” which released in “Springer” January, 5 (Germany).

Editor of 1017 page book (encyclopedia) is famous English scientist B.Kankham who discovered porous silicon technology and photoluminescence event. Book consists of 100 chapters and chapter authors are celebrate scientists of world’s 35 countries invited by Kankham and engaged in nano-structured silicon.

The book includes chapters on porous silicon technology, its structure, optics, luminescence, electrical, magnetic, thermal properties and use of the material in optoelectronics, photovoltaic, carbon-voltaic, sensing, acoustics and biomedicine.

Chapter “Porous silicon and Solar Cells” embraces studies on the usage of nano structured silicon solar cells by academician T.Jafarov together with his staff and work carried out in research centers in the world in this area over the past 25 years.
