Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On April 24, “Genocide of Azerbaijanis” section of the exposition of National Museum of Azerbaijan History was opened.

ANAS president, acad. Akif Alizadeh stated that, this exposition attaches great importance in terms of delivering and promoting truths about genocide of Azerbaijanis to the world. Photo stands and documents demonstrate Azerbaijanis mass murdering by Armenians in XX century through historical facts.

Chief of exhibition organization and foreign relations department of the museum, PhD in History Sabuhi Ahmadov informed about the demonstrated materials. Through history, Armenians chauvinists carried out bloody crimes, terrors and genocide acts against Azerbaijan people.  Numerous historical documents prove that hundreds of Azerbaijanis affected by ethnic cleansing, genocide and mass murder policy of Armenians were deported from their ancestral lands time to time, he noted.
