Celebrate russian historian-Caucasus studier, professor awarded by “Friendship” order of Azerbaijan, Rudolph Ivanov's book entitled “Battle of life and death. Declassified files reveal the secrets of Nariman Narimanov‘s fight with distortions of Bolshevism in Azerbaijan” was published in Moscow.

In the 10 chapters of the book published about 475 historical materials. Monograph includes articles and speeches by N.Narimanov, rare books, including the last lifetime publication “The year of activity without Lenin.” The annexes show 147 important dates concerning to life and work of N. Narimanov.

The author of the “Preface” to the book is the vice-president of ANAS, director of theInstitute of Literature of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbayli. Academician notes in the preface: “Declassified files that firstly were introduced to the reader's turnover by professor R.N. Ivanov, reveal the secrets of Nariman Narimanov ‘s fight with distortions of Bolshevism in Azerbaijan. Professor R.N.Ivanov’s documentary epic can be considered the research of Nariman Narimanov’s turbulent state and political performance.
