Senior advisor to the Russian Embassy to Azerbaijan Alexander Gladkov met with director of ANAS Central Scientific Library, PhD in medical sciences Leyla Imanova.

l.Imanova spoke about her meetings at Russia State Library and Presidential Library on behalf Yeltsin last year during her visit to Russia, and was acquainted with experience of library management, bibliography, information technologies and programming.

Making speech on Azerbaijan-Russia ties, the guest noted the expansion of relations in the spheres of science, education and culture. Envoy of the embassy highly estimated mutual collaboration willingness.

Implementing of book exchange between Russian and Azerbaijani libraries were discussed in the meeting as well.

Then, A.Gladkov was familiar with book foundations. Editions of Caucasus culture, history and archaeology belonging to last centuries in the Rare books foundations and Novels of Russian classics, poetry patterns of various periods in the Russian Literature foundation aroused interest on the guest.
