Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Young scientist of ANAS Institute of Zoology, PhD student of Protistology laboratory – Turkan Gurbanova has probated at Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic . During 25 day visit she obtained new methods applying at laboratory of Molecular Evolution and Phylogenetics of Parasites, Institute of Parasitology ASCR.

Trip has been realized by support of Science Development Fund under AR President within the frame of the “Study for determining Coccidia - single-cell parasite species composition via primary modern molecular methods (DNA amplification, PCR, DNA sequenation) project”.

Note that, being modern molecular methods - DNA amplification, PCR, DNA sequenation are implemented in the field of Protistology in Azerbaijan for the first time.
