“Terminological computer science: formation phases and development trends” express-information co-authored by Academician-secretary of ANAS director of the IIT Academician Rasim Alguliyev and sector chief of this scientific venture Afruz Gurbanova, was released by ANAS Institute of Information Technology. Scientific editor is PhD in engineering senior lecturer Zarifa Jabrayilova.

Express-information which released in the "Information Technologies" publishing house, explores role and importance of terminology activity in modern era, foreign experience in this field, including analyzes activity of the International Information Centre for Terminology and international standards. The necessity of developing national standards on terminology in Azerbaijan was guided.

The research work submits state-of-the-art of done researches in the field of computer science terminology and their comparative analysis, as well as analyzes the possibility of creating terminological knowledge base.

Recommended for publication by decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Information Technology, Express-information guides to approach to the Azerbaijan terminology from viewpoint of information-communication technologies.
