Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Pursuant to AR President Ilham Aliyev’s Order “On holding 140th anniversary of Azerbaijan national press”, ANAS Institute of Manuscripts released the book dubbed “Hasan bey Melikov Zardabi’s activity at the Baku City Duma in the years of 1897-1907” in Russian langauge.

Book designer and author of preface is leading researcher of the Department of personal archives of this scientific venture Esmira Javadova, scientific editor – Deputy Director of the institute for academic affairs, Dr. Philology Pasha Karimov.

Edition elucidates social figure and patriot enlightener Hasan bey Zardabi’s activity at the Baku City duma and meetings of Duma based on proceedings of “Kaspi” newspaper for the first time.

Book is beneficial for historians, economists, those who studies Hasan bey Zardabi’s heritage and for large audience.
