Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

On the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the birth of the brilliant composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli, on the initiative of the Azerbaijani embassy in Hungary, "Uzeyir Hajibeyli and successors" book by head of the Department of Music Theory and History of the Institute of Architecture and Art of ANAS Zemfira Safarova was published in Budapest in the Hungarian language. Translator of the work is Tamash Varhegi, who is the author of several translations of the samples of Azerbaijani literature.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Hungary Vilayat Guliyev wrote a great introduction to the book titled as "The genius composer. A prominent citizen".

"Additions" chapter of the book contains information about the musical instruments of Azerbaijan and the main genres of Azerbaijan folk music. The book is donated to Franz Liszt Academy of Music, as well as to libraries and music schools.
