Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Directorial elections will be held in scientific research institutes of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and in the institutions with equal status. Decision about was taken at a meeting of the Presidium of ANAS.

Speaking at the meeting corresponding member of ANAS, academician-secretary of ANAS Rasim Alguliyev stated that, directors of 14 scientific institutions have ended his term. Elections will be held pursuant to the Charter of ANAS, Regulation on the research institutes and scientific institutions with equal status, “Rules on holding elections to the head post of scientific research institutes and institutes with equal status”, he noted.
