Changes taking place in the waters prior to earthquakes will be monitored.

Thus, Guter Buntebart, professor of German Gutenberg University has invented a new device enabling more accurate monitoring of the groundwater flow and temperature conditions. Scientist, who tested the new equipment for the first time in Georgia, is going to experience it in Azerbaijan, the Caucasus region. An example of a research device was presented to the Institute of Geology. According to the chief of “Hydrology and engineering geology” department, Dr. geology-mineralogy prof. Yusif Israfilov, the equipment will be installed in one of the water wells of Republican Seismological Survey Center landfill in the district of Shamakha. Current equipment enables to carry out researches in other directions of hydrology.
