Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

1.10 and 3.0.6 items of the Charter of ANAS which was approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 11, 2014, identified the rights of to set up business subjects by applying achievements and innovations in the field of science to the different areas of production, to establish research and production-oriented experimental plants and different facets of economic ventures with the goal of to achieve the objectives of ANAS and to improve the social conditions of individuals. Guiding by these items of the Charter, “Akademkitab” division attached to ANAS Central Scientific Library was abolished and there was a need to establish commercial organization with the purpose of to publish, sell and distribution of the academic editions of ANAS institutions.

Pursuant to the decision of the Presidium of ANAS, “Akademkitab” Limited Liability Company attached to ANAS has been established and endorsed its Charter. Dr. Philology Aliagha Jafarov was defined the acting managing director of the Company.

Oversight the Order was entrusted to Vice-President of ANAS, Acad. Ibrahim Guliyev.
