Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Committee of “Health” has been created to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Chairman of the newly created committee was defined Academician-secretary of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences, Acad. Ahliman Amiraslanov, reported Ogtay Asadov in the first session of 5th convocation of Milli Majlis on November 24.

Several appointments were made in the session. Thus, Vice-President of ANAS director of the Institute of Literature, Academician Isa Habibbayli was defined the chairman of “Science and education” committee, director of National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature Acad. Rafael Huseynov – chairman of “Culture” committee, Acad. Ziyad Samadzadeh –chairman of “Economic policy, industry and business” committee.

O. Asadov stated that, Committees of “Family, woman and child affairs”, “Public Associations and religious organizations”, including “The youth and sport" have been created to the Milli Majlis as well.
