The extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Azerbaijan to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vilayat Guliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli.

Dear Isa muallim!

On behalf of the staff of our country’s diplomatic mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as on my own behalf, I sincerely congratulate you on the noteworthy occasion of your 75th anniversary and wish you all the best.

I know very well that nearly 60 of these 75 years have been dedicated to selfless service to our people, our literature, art, and culture. Your works, which are the results of your serious searches and productive efforts, are a valuable source in terms of studying, promoting, and disseminating classical and modern Azerbaijani literature and creativity of prominent figures.

Your area of activity is quite extensive. You have left significant marks in the history of politics, literature, culture, and social thought as well as in the history of statehood and parliamentarianism in Azerbaijan during the period of independence, not only as an outstanding representative of modern humanities and the author of numerous works, but also as an organizer of science and education, a public and political figure and an educator.

In the difficult times of our country, you stood shoulder to shoulder with the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, earned his respect and trust and this is undoubtedly a fact not only of your personal biography. Through your selfless and dedicated choice, you have also demonstrated that you are a true intellectual who always supports justice and stands by your state and leader in the most complex situations.

I am very glad that the passing years, fame and status have not changed you in the slightest. You have remained the simple, sincere, hardworking person I have known for nearly half a century, who is never tired of doing good for others, derives the greatest pleasure from writing and creating, and is loyal to friends and friendship, just like Isa Habibbeyli.

I congratulate you once again and wish you good health, a long life, and many more creative successes and joys.
