Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Honored Journalist, Tahir Aydınoghlu, deputy editor-in-chief of “Xalq qəzeti” has been awarded a certificate of honor by the Division of Humanitarian Sciences of ANAS on the occasion of his 65th birthday and his contributions in popularization of science in the media.

The President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Academician Isa Habibbeyli presented the award to journalist Tahir Aydinoghlu at the Presidium of ANAS and warmly congratulated him.  The Academician highlighted over 40 years of professional work of Tahir Aydinoghlu at Azerbaijan Television and “Xalq qəzeti” editorial office and noted that effective cooperation of science and media will continue to contribute to the comprehensive progress of our country. He wished success to Tahir Aydınoghlu in this activity.

The head of ANAS highly praised the role of “Xalq qəzeti” in creating a media chronicle of the socio-political life of our country and forming an objective public opinion. He emphasized that the recent creative efforts of this oldest publication, which recently celebrated its 105th anniversary, fully reflect the challenges of modern media. The Academician mentioned that our scientists place great importance on cooperation with the editorial office and added that they will increase their support for scientific enlightenment works. 

Tahir Aydinoghlu expressed his gratitude for the attention and the value placed on the scientific-humanitarian direction of his work, stating that he will continue his services aimed at promoting science in the future.
