ANAS President Academician Isa Habibbeyli Inspects Rare Trees Park

President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Academician Isa Habibbeyli, inspected the Rare Trees Park established on the территории of the Academy Campus.

Academician Isa Habibbeyli stated that the Rare Trees Park, created three years ago within the framework of the “Year of Heydar Aliyev” through the planting of rare ornamental trees and shrubs adapted to and resilient in the country’s climate conditions, is already yielding results today. He emphasized that the park represents a contribution by the Academy to environmental protection in the country, the promotion of care for nature, and the improvement of environmental health.

Academician Isa Habibbeyli gave relevant instructions regarding the regular provision of agrotechnical care for the trees and shrubs planted in the park.

It should be noted that members of the Presidium of ANAS, directors of scientific institutions and organizations, and staff of the Free Trade Union of ANAS, as well as employees of the Academy Campus Department of the Presidium Office, took part in the event.
