Sustainable expansion of international relations of ANAS, the regular hold of international events and meetings makes it necessary to create all the structures Eduroam service academy (education roaming) and access to the Internet via Eduroam.

Eduroam - is an international roaming service that provides secure and easy access of scientists, researchers, students and teachers on the Internet.

Eduroam service users are able to wirelessly easy, free and safe access to the Internet while on the territory of thousands of domestic and foreign scientific and educational institutions.

This service is provided by computer science and education network the European GEANT.

Creating of Eduroam network in Azerbaijan is carried out by the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS (IIT), representing Azerbaijan in the GEANT Association.

Eduroam service was established by the Institute on the basis of scientific computer network AzScienceNet.

On the basis of scientific computer network AzScienceNet by Institute of Information Technology of ANAS are carried out the successive efforts to expand and improve the quality of service Eduroam.

Curently, in different departments and divisions of the Presidium Administration of ANAS was installed new equipment, resulting in significantly increased coverage and quality of service indicators Eduroam.
