ANAS Institute of History after A.A.Bakhıxanov was published "Azerbaijani Diaspora: history and modernity" book.  

The scientific editor of the new edition is ANAS Institute of History of Science, Doctor of History Sciences, Maryam Seyidbayli, reviewer is director of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History, Academician Naila Valikhanli, head of the project is ANAS director of the Institute of History, Yagub Mahmudov.

The book includes articles on topics as: "Heydar Aliyev and the Azerbaijani Diaspora initiator", "President AR Ilham Aliyev and formation of Azerbaijani Diaspora and activity of issues", "Ilham Aliyev's role in increasing the economic potential of the Azerbaijani Diaspora", "Turkey's place in the history and activities of the Azerbaijani Diaspora", "Azerbaijan in the U.S Diaspora lobbying".

Papers analyze the creation and formation of Diasporas, comprehensively and thoroughly study the formation of the Azerbaijani diaspora, operating in various regions of the world.

The publication is a valuable source of information for historians, students, as well as every citizen of Azerbaijan.
