Next training of Heydar Aliyev’s Lecture held in Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS

The second coming of national leader Heydar Aliyev to political power June 15, 1993 entered the history of Azerbaijan as the Day of National Salvation.

Since that time, our state has been saved from the threat of extinction, the country embarked on the path of development, progress and recovery.

These ideas were presented on June 15, dedicated to National Salvation Day, at the 71st session of the "Heydar Aliyev’s Lecture" which held in the Nakhchivan branch of ANAS.

Chairman of the Department, Academician Ismayil Hajiyev, in his report on "National leader Heydar Aliyev: from returning to salvation" noted that, in the spring of 1993 the situation in the country has reached a critical limit. Part of the territory of Azerbaijan was occupied by Armenians; hundreds of thousands of our compatriots were forced to leave their native lands. At that point, people have chosen the only correct way - persistently invited the world famous political figure Heydar Aliyev to lead the country. On June 15, 1993 great leader Heydar Aliyev was elected Chairman of the Supreme Council.

Ismayil Hajiyev noted that, that elected as president on October 3, 1993 under the great support of the people, a prominent statesman Heydar Aliyev for ten years Azerbaijan leadership has done extremely big work.

It was emphasized that, based on the national interests of the multi-vector policy of the great leader is successfully continued by his worthy successor President Ilham Aliyev.

At the present time a comprehensive and rapid development of our country, the successes in foreign policy, implemented global projects show that Azerbaijan is a powerful state.
