Structure of the International Bioethics, Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology Committee of UNESCO in Azerbaijan changed

Established by the support the Presidium of ANAS and the National Commission of Azerbaijan for UNESCO the National Committee of UNESCO in Azerbaijan on Bioethics, Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology is functioned since 1999. In recent years, several members of the National Committee for various reasons stopped their activities, and therefore it became necessary to make changes in the composition of the National Committee.

Consequently, considering the request of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences by decision of the Presidium of ANAS it was approved the new composition of the National Committee of UNESCO in Azerbaijan on Bioethics, Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology.

There was a suggestion for the submission of a new composition of the National Committee to AR National Commission for UNESCO under AR Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
