Archaeological research of scientists of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography continues successfully

Scientists of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography are successfully continue the archaeological research.

According to Deputy Director for scientific issues of the Institute, PhD in History, Najaf Museyibli now archaeological investigations are carried out in Shamkir and Gabala regions. For the purpose of carrying out archeological excavations archaeological expeditions go also to other regions of the republic.

According to N.Museibli, in Aghjabedi and Shamkir researches will be conducted together with German scientists, in Tovuz with Japanese, Gabala's ruins with Korean, Nakhchivan and Tovuz with the French scientists.

Speaking about the results of archaeological research carried out in recent years, N.Museibli said that, as a result of archeological excavations in Mingachevir, Sheki and Zagatala were identified settlement of primitive people age of 450-500 thousand years.

The archeological excavations and the conducted researches also have special value in studying of national history.
