Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Head of Laboratory “Energy radioactive processes” of the Institute of Radiation Problems Doctor of Chemistry, Prof. Islam Mustafayev on February 10, 2014 will go on to business trip to Kishinev (Moldova). The purpose of business trip is participation in meeting of steering committee of the Air Quality Management project. The project prepared on the basis “East regional plan of activity of the European tool of the neighborhood and partnership”, along with Azerbaijan is realized also in Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Armenia.

Within the project Azerbaijan needs to improve the national legislation in the field of air quality management, to ratify the relevant protocols to the international conventions, to realize the pilot project on creation of system of monitoring of a condition of the atmosphere in Sumgait.

We will note that the staff of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural resources of AR will take part in meeting also.
