Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

In order to strengthen human resources training of young specialists, ANAS Institute of Archeology and Ethnography  has organized a ten-day summer school.

The major initiators and organizers of the project are Professor of Archaeology of the French National Center for Scientific Research Bertil Lionet and Head of the Department of the Institute Farhad Guliyev.

The summer school is taught seminars in the field of anthropology and paleobotany, as well as excavation techniques in English and French. Workshops are carried out on anthropology by Aurora Lambert, paleobotany - Alex Desai, methods of excavations and archaeological research - Professor Bertil Lionet.

To participate in the summer school also are involved magistrates and Azerbaijani students, receiving education in Turkey on archeology and anthropology specialty.
