On October 24, Huseyn Javid’s Memorial Flat has presented two-volume book “Javid’s wisdom: selected aphorisms” devoted to great Azerbaijani poet and dramatist Huseyn Javid.

In advance, event attendees put flowers in front of the monument erected in honor of Huseyn Javid and commemorated him.

Academician-Secretary of ANAS Division of Humanitarian Sciences Academician Teymur Karimli spoke about dramatist’s life and creativity.

Academician T.Karimli noted that, presented edition will contribute for works done in promotion of Azerbaijan literature. The book prepared relying on Huseyn Javid's five-volume corpus submits great poet’s aphorisms on humanity, country, nation, love and the various human relationships in English for the first time.

Vice-President of ANAS Academician Isa Habibbeyli reminded great merits of Javid in formation of youth’s cognition. Importing Javid’s corpse to the motherland and buried in Nakhchivan is a remarkable event for our literature, culture and The Javids Family. Vice-President also noted that, organizing memorial flat of Huseyn Javid in Nakhchivan and Baku cities are also obvious indicator of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Highly appreciating the activities of Huseyn Javid’s Memorial Flat in collecting, protecting and promoting Javids’ heritage I.Habibbeyli drew attention to the publication of X cover of great dramatist’s works.

Isa Habibbeyli stated that, Huseyn Javid was a tolerant poet and his works are full of multiculturalism traditions.

Great writer has brought genre of romance to the literature in a new verse drama. At the beginning of the XX century, Javid gained fame such as the founder of a romanticism, especially the founder of verse drama. Huseyn Javid has promoted Turkism ideology to a higher peak as an ideologist as well, highlighted Academician Isa Habibbeyli.

Chief Executive of Yasamal district Ibrahim Mehdiyev spoke about the importance of the book. He emphasized the importance to promote Javid’s heritage for the Turkic world and humanity.

It was noted that, the new edition has been published by the financial assistance of the Youth Foundation under the President of Azerbaijan and grant "Promotion of Javid’s study among school teenagers" under the leadership of employee of ANAS Huseyn Javid’s Memorial Flat Farida Aliyeva. Compiler of the book and the author of the foreword is Director of the museum, Doctor of Philology Gulbaniz Babakhanli, scientific consultant is Academician Isa Habibbeyli and editor is Academician Teymur Karimli.

At the event reported relatives of the poet, chairman of Yasamal District of NAP organization Taghi Ahmadov, Director of the Folklore Institute, corresponding member of ANAS Mukhtar Imanov, a member of the Javid Commission Kamaladdin Gadimli and others who pointed out that, the published in two languages book "Javid’s wisdom: Selected Aphorisms" will play an important role in a detailed study of Huseyn Javid's creativity. Separate directions were analyzed creativity of Huseyn Javid, who owns a worthy place in world literature.
