Reforms are being taken in ANAS in the direction of organization and management of scientific activity requires improving expedition researches carried out by institutions and organizations of ANAS.

Taking into account this problem ANAS president acad. Akif Alizadeh signed an Order “Preparation of Statue on the expedition researches” dated April 9, 2013.

“Rules of the organization and implementation of scientific expeditions by scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS and” and “Norms of expenditure on a scientific expedition conducted by scientific institutions of ANAS” projects have been approved in a today’s meeting of the Presidium of ANAS. By the decision of the Presidium both projects will be submitted to the AR Cabinet of Ministers for approval.
