Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

In order to encourage scientists who contributed to the development of science, and gained most important achievements to conduct high-level researches, as well as to perpetuate a number of prominent scientists’ memory, Presidium of the ANAS has decided to set up a number of awards. According to the decision, ANAS’s prizes were named after Nasiraddin Tusi, Hasan Bey Zerdabi, academicians Uzeyir Hajibayli, Mirasadulla Mirgasimov, Yusif Mammadaliyev and Musa Aliyev.

ANAS Central Administration of the Presidium Department of Scientific-organizationwas charged to prepare “Statute of ANAS awards on behalf of the prominent scientists”.
