Chairman of the Board of JSC Vidadi Muradov was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of the Dagestan Republic" by order of the head of Dagestan Republic Ramazan Abdulatipov.

PhD in History, Professor Vidadi Muradov is the author of scientific and fundamental research, monographs, pamphlets, books, television, movies and books devoted to Baku, Karabakh, Irevan, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Gazakh-Borchali, Tabriz, Guba, Shirvan group of Azerbaijani carpets published in different countries of the world, the founder and chief editor of the scientific-publicist journal "Azerbaijani carpets" which is published in Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages.

 Under his leadership in 2015-2016 has been implemented research project "Derbent carpet" dedicated to the 2000 anniversary of Derbent with ANAS, Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnography of Dagestan Scientific Center of Russian Academy of Sciences. The result of the study, which was supported by the UNESCO Chair for Comparative Studies of Spiritual Traditions, their Specific Cultures and Interreligious Dialogue for the North Caucasus, was the monograph "Derbent carpet."
