February 6, at a distance of 31 km north from Shirvan seismic station of the Republican Center of Seismic Survey (RCSS) - in the prospectus Sangachal Garadagh district recorded two volcanic eruptions.

The eruption of a mud volcano in the territory took place in 12:20:40 and 14:18:07, local time.

According to Director of RCSS, according to the corresponding member of ANAS Gurban Yetirmishli, 2 eruptions occurred on "Othman Bozdag", the first of which lasted 3 min 23 s, and the second - 6 min.

Note that the last "Othman Bozdag" eruption was recorded 13 years ago - in 2004. Research is carried out at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics in connection with the volcano.
