Scottish environmental consultant Dr. James Fenton visited to our country with the goal to get acquainted with rich flora of Azerbaijan. Within the visit the guest has been at ANAS Institute of Botany.
Director of the institute Dr. Biology prof. Valida Alizadeh and other employees of the institute informed the guest on conducted research works, projects that realized via world’s various leading scientific organizations.
J. Fenton deeply interested in rare and endangered plant species, their current status, and reconstruction fulfillments in the institute for study and conservation of plant diversity, got acquainted with Herbarium Fund, laboratories, seed collection and a new created museum as well.
View exchange was held on the future prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Europe.
