The bibliography of Head of the Department of Geological and Geophysical Sciences of ANAS Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Professor, poet Hikmet Mahmudov was published.

The new book reflects 50-year pedagogical activity and the stage of literary creativity of the distinguished scholarship-geologist from 1971 to the present. The bibliography includes a wide range of information on more than 100 scientific works published in Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian, English, German, Bulgarian, Georgian, Persian and other languages, including textbooks, monographs, scientific articles and 7 inventions.

The bibliography prepared in Azerbaijani and Russian languages in the volume of 200 pages was published by the publishing house "Nurlan". The bibliography written under the editorship of Siyavush Mamedzade is intended for geologists, poets and writers.

It should be noted that, H.Mahmudov is a member of the Writers' Union of Azerbaijan.
