The names of scientists, awarded the Nominal Prizes of ANAS, announced

At the next meeting of the Presidium of ANAS held on April 19 was adopted a decision on awarding the 7 scientists with Nominal prizes.

Thus, for the study of the physics of layered A3 B6 crystals and the application of nonlinear effects in lasers, as well as for scientific achievements in the field of lidar research and applications, Doctor of physical and mathematical sciences Kerim Allahverdiyev was awarded the ANAS Nasraddin Tusi Prize for the publication of a series of monographs on morphogenetic Diagnostics, nomenclature, conservation and classification of soils in Azerbaijan, Academician Maharram Babayev – Prize Hasan bey Zardabi of ANAS, for his services in studying and propagandizing the musical heritage of Azerbaijan Professor Tofig Bakikhanov – ANAS Prize after Academician Uzeyir Hajibeyli, for scientific achievements in the treatment and diagnostics of diseases created by deep fungi, corresponding Member of ANAS Zakir Garayev – ANAS Prize named after Academician Mirasadulla Mirgasimov, for important fundamental and applied scientific results in the sphere of creation of high-quality additives and lubricants Academician Vagif Farzaliyev - ANAS Prize named after Academician Yusif Mammadaliyev, for fundamental research in the field of mineral-raw resources Academician Vasif Babazade - ANAS Prize named after Academician Musa Aliyev, for his services in the field of scientific research and promotion of numismatic heritage of Azerbaijan, Dr. Ali Rajabli - ANAS Prize named after Abbasgulu Agha Bakikhanov.

Note that, each winner will receive a cash prize of 5,000 manat.

The contest to receive nominal premiums of ANAS was announced by the resolution of the Presidium of February 15, 2017.
