Delegates of High Tech Park of ANAS (HTP) and Baku Engineering University (BEU) have met.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of joint scientific and technical programs, conferences and projects, competitions in areas of mutual interest. It was noted that the purpose of cooperation is to strengthen bilateral interdepartmental relations, to ensure the development of science, based on the expansion of activities in the field of innovation. The High Tech Park of ANAS and the BEU plan to provide financial support for joint research, evaluation and implementation of the economic efficiency of innovative projects. Cooperation with the support of the HTP of ANAS and BEU will open new opportunities for the commercialization of scientific achievements of an innovative nature.
The document on cooperation was signed by the director of the HTP of ANAS, PhD in agrarian sciences Vugar Babayev and rector of the BEU, Professor Khavar Mammadov. The goal is to create conditions for the integration of scientific achievements into modern technological projects, to provide scientific and economic support to young people for the implementation of scientific and innovative ideas.
The next agreement, signed between the High Tech Park of ANAS and the Technopark of the Baku University of Engineering, was connected with the "Yeni Fikir 2017 Competition". The contract provides for the provision of organizational and material support for the holding of the competition, as well as the establishment of other competitions promoting the development of cross-sectoral cooperation. According to the document, HTP of ANAS as the general sponsor of the contest will provide a cash prize in the amount of 10,000 manats and provide incubation and other collaborative services to successful projects participating in the contest.
It should be noted that Yeni Fikir 2017 Competition is the platform of the biggest startup contest organized by the Technopark of the Baku Engineering University. The project is implemented in order to support the development of innovative entrepreneurship. About 150 projects were registered in the contest among young people. Currently, the process of evaluating projects from the jury continues.
