Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

According to proper instruction of Presidium of ANAS “Mugham study” department was established in the Institute of Architecture and Art.

Dr. Study of art Sevil Farhadova has been appointed the head of the department.

Note that, mugham history has been involved to research in the research institutes of ANAS especially in humanitarian profiled institutes. New department will study the genesis, structural model, lad and melodic characteristic of mugham, also this art of music will be compared with analogical art genres of other nations.
