Institute of Genetic Resources has kicked off trainings on programming language dubbed “Python for genome data analysis”.
It aims to implement processing and interpretation of biological data, obtained via new generation Sequence technologies, by means of this language.
Training is conducted by researcher of Biotechnology department of the institute – Orkhan Baghirli.
Note that, “Python” is used in the huge research centers widely and has several libraries for scientific calculations. In addition, it is one of the mostly used programming languages in Biology. Currently, organizations such as, “Google”, “Intel”, “CISCO”, “Hewlett-Packard”, “Qualcomm”, “IBM” and “NASA” develops their numerous projects in Python language.
