Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

4 new institutes of ANAS will be established. Presidium of ANAS made a decision on establishment of scientific enterprises.

According to the decision, Oil and Gas Research Institute attached to ANAS Department of Earth Sciences, Institute for Science History and World Policy Institute attached to Department of Humanitarian and Social Sciences, Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology attached to Department of Biology and Medical Sciences will be established.

Oil and Gas Research Institute will aim at organizing and implementing oil and gas industry based on complex allocation of geological-geophysical, information, cosmic and other technologies.

The main objectives of the Institute for Science History to study history of science, its formation, development and current state, as well as the methodological base for the formation of science, detection of monuments, to develop new methods of studying the history of science.

World Science Institute aims elaborating political processes happened in a world, their future development, complex and systematic investigating state activity.

Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology aims studying modern problems of agricultural areas with application of molecular biology, molecular genetics, bioinformatics, systematic biology and other technologies.
