New methods will be applied in Azerbaijan to study the seismic stability of buildings.

This was reported by the official of the Geological Service of Canada, Professor of the University of Victoria Tuna Onur, who is visiting Azerbaijan, in his presentation at the Republican Center of the Seismological Survey of ANAS. Speaking about the methods used in the US, Canada and Europe, T. Onur said that these methods will also be applied in our country, and in this regard, training for local staff is already being conducted.

The director of the center, Correspondent member of ANAS Gurban Yetirmishli noted that the seismic stability of each building, which has been constructed in Azerbaijan, is separately calculated. Noting the importance of applying modern methods in our country, the Director General reported on the direction of young cadres in this area.
