ANAS Shemakha Astrophysical Observatory after N. Tusi, Association of Photographers of Azerbaijan announced a photo contest "Let's Discover the Universe".

Reflecting the beauty of the sky, photographs taken by professional photographers and amateurs will be taken from August 11 to September 20. After coding, the photos will be judged by the professional jury represented by Director of the Shemakha Astrophysical Observatory, Corresponding Member of ANAS Namik Jalilov, Director of ANAS Institute of Architecture and Arts, Corresponding Member of ANAS Ertagin Salamzadeh and the Chairman of the Board of the Association of Photographers of Azerbaijan Mirnaib Gasanoglu.

Three photographers, who made the most beautiful pictures of the sky, will receive gifts and a chance to relax in the center of astro tourism "Journey to the Universe", will be awarded a special diploma of the observatory. The results of the contest will be published on the official website of the observatory. As a result of the competition, a photo exhibition will be organized, which will present up to 30 photos of the participants. Photographers who took part in the exhibition will be awarded certificates.
