Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The book was published by the Institute of Oriental Studies named after Academician Ziya Bunyadov "The Urmu in the the war that burns the world". The book deals with the disaster in Urmia during and after the First World War.

The work consists of main entry are 4 chapters and epilogue. Chapter 1 tells of the Nasranis’ arrival in February and August of 1918. Chapter 2 covers the events of May 1918 to May 1919. The next period is described in Chapter 3 until December of the next year. This is mainly referred to inner hypocrisy. In the last chapter, the events that took place in the period from April 1921 until January 1922 are covered.

Shemshi Ahmedov, a scientific worker at the Institute of Oriental Studies, translated the book from Persian.
