Organized students’ excursion to the Institute of Polymeric Materials

ANAS Institute of Polymer Materials has organized an excursion for 8th grade students of Sumgait secondary school # 37.

The aim was to increase the interest of schoolchildren in chemistry, to get acquainted with the work done at the institute, modern instruments of work installed in laboratories.

At the meeting with Director of Institute, Corresponding Member of ANAS Bakhtiyar Mammadov, the guests were provided with information about the history, scientific directions of activities and the successes of the scientific institution.

Further, the work carried out in the Laboratory of Polyester and Polycarbonate Materials, Laboratory of Physical-Chemical Analysis, Laboratories Mechano-Chemical Modification and Polymer Processing was clearly demonstrated.

In conclusion, the students get acquainted with an exhibition reflecting the activities of the institute.
