Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The delegation headed by the Director of the Institute of Petroleum Studies of Egypt (IPSE), Professor Ahmad Muhammad Al-Sabah visited ANAS Institute of Geography after Academician H.Aliyev.

The goal is to create cooperation links between the two structures in the field of science and education.

At the meeting with Director of the Institute, Academician Ramiz Mammadov, guests were provided with information about the history, activities and international relations of the institution, as well as works done in the field of oceanology.

Then, A.Muhammad Al-Sabah in his speech spoke about the institute he headed. He expressed his intention for scientific cooperation with the Institute of Geography.

In conclusion, it was decided to implement a project and development programs between the two structures in the field of oceanology, including the preparation of a memorandum of understanding on academic exchange.
